It all began with a purchase in 1958.
“The land which is now Breezy Point Resort was purchased in 1958 by Russell and Nelle Robinson. They soon began construction on the house where they lived. This is now known as cabins 5, 9 and 10. Next came the fishing dock and cabins 1 & 2. After about 6 years they sold to Ken Olive who ran Breezy Point and Dogwood Terrace right next door.”

“ In 1977 Patrick and Jan Boss purchased both resorts and had their family, Jennifer and Krissy.”

“During the early 1980’s the Dogwood side was sold off as summer homes.”

“In 2007 Teresa joined Patrick in running the resort and soon daughter Jennifer and Joe Linch and their 3 children Breanne, Cole, and Brady moved back to the area in order to help manage the family resort.”

“The resort was purchased by Pat Downey and Susan Jesse in 2021 who plan on continuing the tradition of families making memories here at Lake of the Ozarks and Breezy Point Resort.”
